There are over 18 million Latinx or Hispanic children living in the United States. Latinx children come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and countries of origin, and there are pronounced differences in their well-being.
On September 22nd, CHILDREN AT RISK, in collaboration with The Children’s Partnership, present “The State of Latinx Children in the United States.” The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to issues of immigration policy, education, health, and economic security that specifically affect Latinx children across the US. Policy and practice experts will discuss the Latinx child experience with a focus on Florida, Texas, and California.
