CHILDREN AT RISK and Texas Family Leadership Council, in partnership with American Heart Association, Save the Children, and Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, is imagining a world where no child goes hungry.
This Food Insecurity Summit will envision these possibilities while bringing attention to those already paving the way in innovation, particularly within rural communities. During this summit, experts will reflect on the recent food insecurity faced by youth and young adults, while experts and community leaders weigh in on critical supply chain challenges, as well as the impact legislation has on nutrition, distribution, and food insecurity. The summit will conclude by looking at the agency and policy levels for solutions to help us overcome existing, and ineffective, roadblocks to feeding kids both in Texas and across the US.
