Fundraising
We came sprinting out of the gates on October 17, 2015, when we finally opened our full-time shop. As a fledgling shop, we work towards total self sufficiency plus the ability to share our profits with other organizations providing aftercare to survivors of human trafficking. As we work towards that goal, we will still be fundraising to continue providing awareness opportunities for Houstonians to become educated about this issue in our city and begin providing in-house aftercare for survivors.

Volunteering with Us
We staff our shop and our mobile pop-up coffee shop with a combination of paid employees and volunteers. We also need volunteers from time to time with projects and are always looking to expand our volunteer base. We also continue to do mobile events like farmers markets and pop-up shops, serving coffee and raising awareness.
- Take orders, make drinks, wash dishes, bus tables and educate customers about human trafficking in a weekly or bi-weekly volunteer shift.
- Man our mobile coffee shop at our many events and farmers markets to continue to educate the community about human trafficking.
- Use your handy-person skills to help us with minor plumbing, electrical, construction jobs as those needs arise.
- Channel your love for data entry to help us maintain our bookkeeping.
- Tell us what your skills are and how you think they can benefit the cause or sign up for our mailing list so you'll know when we're looking for volunteers!

Assisting our Allies
Find your place! Everyone has a skill, experience, expertise they can lend to the fight against human trafficking. Join our allies to meet their volunteer needs on a variety for fronts.
- Be a speaker to raise awareness with Redeemed Ministries.
- Paint and decorate rooms in the upcoming safe house with Elijah Rising.
- Be a mentor and friend for survivors with Free the Captives.
- Organize donations for the drop in center at The Landing.
Becoming Aware
Human Trafficking thrives because it is hidden in the dark. One of our goals is to bring it into the light and give Houstonians the tools they need to know how to respond when they see it.
