This presentation will examine how the African American and Black community are disproportionately affected by human trafficking. Due to immense, measurable disparities in resource allocation, service delivery, and institutions, this community is at a heightened risk for trafficking. In addition, this community also faces increased rates of unjust penalties and incarceration as a result of being trafficked. Finally, United Against Human Trafficking will examine ways we can move forward and take action.
